Custom Designed Packaging Makes a Big Impact

One of our clients, a pharmaceutical (biomedical) company, came to us with a challenge. They needed a product case that was easily accessible, organized and sturdy for their salespeople to carry packaged surgical instruments to prospective clients. The package needed to present well and meet their branding requirements. The boxes they were using were flimsy, hard to access, and looked unprofessional.

Communication Graphics designed a custom carrying case made from e-flute corrugate with an inserted plastic handle. The case easily opened from the top to fold out towards the recipient and reveal several shelves which neatly displayed individual cartons of surgical tools.

The box can now be fully printed and customized with the appropriate company branding. Salespeople can now confidently walk into a client’s hospital setting and professionally display their products quickly, easily and efficiently.

Are you interested in custom packaging? Do you have a product that might require customization?  Let Communication Graphics Inc. design treatments specifically for you. A custom designed package will send a message of branding and professionalism that both you and your employees will be proud of and, most importantly, will make an impact on your clientèle!

Problem… Solved

One of our clients has a need to mail legal notices on a daily basis to many of their clients.  These notices are time-sensitive and required by law.  Our client ran into an issue with some of these notices being returned from the United States Postal Service (USPS) as undeliverable addresses.  Our client needed to show that they had taken reasonable measures to deliver these notices to all their clients, so the returned mail posed a legal issue.

Communication Graphics, Inc (CGI) was able to work with our client and the USPS to find a solution that would get the maximum number of notices delivered and also provide evidence for our client that legally, they took reasonable measures to notify their clients.  We devised a program to handle the returned mail efficiently for our client.

CGI added an intelligent mail barcode to the notices.  This allows us to receive electronic notices if a letter is undeliverable.  With this information, CGI is able to analyze the undeliverable addresses and put them through an address resolution process to try and find an updated address.  We then mail a second notice to the intended recipient with an updated address, informing them that our client tried to contact them and the notice was returned as undeliverable.

CGI maintains a database of all notices mailed as well as whether an address was undeliverable.  If an address was undeliverable, we also keep a record of why it was undeliverable, the date we tried to find an updated address, and, if an updated address was found, when a second notice was mailed.   This database provides the legal evidence our client needs to show that reasonable measures were taken to notify their clients.  It also gives our client the insight that they may not have the most up-to-date addresses for some of their clients, allowing them to reach out to their clients, if they choose, to obtain a current address.
